The PTA helps to make BLE a better school in two ways:
1. We raise money. The funds raised by BLE PTA fund important programs and events and include teacher and student scholarships, family fun nights, playground equipment, library books, school assemblies and so much more!
2. We show up. BLE PTA volunteers work hard to ensure book fairs, carnivals, family fun nights, art docent programs, pastries with peeps and other events are a success. All of the events are planned, funded, and executed by the PTA. These activities give our students the chance to have fun and make great memories at BLE.
Did you know that as a PTA member you are not required to attend PTA meetings, although everyone is welcome to come and share input on school events and other PTA business? It’s true! Also, meetings are even more convenient these days with virtual attendance over Zoom, from the comfort of your home!
With your paid membership you will be able to vote on board positions, budget decisions, and other important PTA issues. General membership meetings are held every other month
